Niger's team beat Djibouti's 4-2 during a meeting relocated to Rabat on September 6, 2021, in qualifying for the 2022 World Cup (group A).

The Djiboutians even managed to do it for a period, facing Niger.

They opened the scoring in the 32nd by Anas Farah Ali.

But in the second period, the Nigeriens resurfaced thanks to a double from Victorien Adebayor (49th, 56th), a penalty from Djibo Adamou (65th) and a fourth goal signed by Amadou Sabo (68th).

Hassan Houssein completed the scoreboard for Djibouti in the 90th minute: 4-2, final score.

In the classification of group A, Niger is now tied on points (3) with Burkina Faso and Algeria pending the confrontation of Burkinabè and Algerians, this September 7 in Marrakech
