Actress Han Ye-seul, who took legal action against YouTubers and malicious commenters, shared the results of the police investigation.

On the 6th, Han Ye-seul posted a picture on her SNS along with the words, "It takes a while, but each one is progressing well." It was a photo of a notice of the investigation result that contained the progress of the complaint.

On the same day, Incheon Bupyeong Police Station announced that it was planning to send netizen A to the prosecution on charges of insulting. Person A is being accused of writing comments that undermine her social evaluation on articles related to Han Ye-seul posted on Internet portal sites.

The Wonmi Police Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province also sent netizen B to the prosecution on charges of defamation under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. It was found that B's comment also contained false facts about Han Ye-seul.

The police, who conducted an investigation on Mr. A and others, decided to send them to the prosecution, seeing that the charges were acknowledged.

On June 21, the law firm Pacific, in charge of Han Ye-seul's legal representation, said, "On the 21st of June, there are YouTube channels such as 'Kim Yong-ho, the entertainment manager' who spreads false information or insults the client (Han Ye-seul), as well as other YouTube channels containing the same and similar content. We plan to file a complaint against those who wrote malicious posts and comments that exceed the limit for defamation and insult.”

Han Ye-seul has been in a public relationship with her boyfriend, Ryu Seong-jae, who is 10 years younger than her since May. Afterwards, celebrity YouTuber Kim Yong-ho sparked controversy by revealing that "Han Ye-seul's boyfriend was a waitress" and raising suspicions of Han Ye-seul's tax evasion and Burning Sun drugs.

Han Ye-seul denied all the allegations, saying it was "groundless", but Kim Yong-ho's revelations and netizens' malicious comments did not stop. In the end, Han Ye-seul sued Kim Yong-ho and malicious commenters for defamation and insults, and began strong legal action.
