Kumamoto Prefecture and Kumamoto City announced on the 5th that 93 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
It is the first time since the 10th of last month that the number of newly infected people in the prefecture has been double-digit.
This brings the total number of infected people in the prefecture to 13,234.
