The fund's bank account and online donation platform are currently operating as usual. The fund is processing the last batch of funding applications, is now calculating the required amount of funds, and will announce the fundraising target within a day.
If the required funds have been settled and the target amount has been raised, the donation will be stopped immediately.
The "612 Fund" supporting the "black storm" was established on June 15, 2019, and has always claimed to provide support for arrested rioters, including medical care, criminal or civil legal expenses, and emergency financial assistance.
The fund announced last month that the "True Universal Suffrage Alliance", which is responsible for fund custody and revenue and expenditure services, will end its operations in a short period of time and will "stop operations in an orderly manner," including the suspension of new cases and the dissolution of the secretariat at the end of October.
