On September 3, in Nanchang, Jiangxi, several Yangtze finless porpoises swim in the waters of the Gan River.

Since the end of June 2021, in the waters of the Gan River in Yangzizhou Town, Donghu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, there have been frequent scenes of finless porpoise swimming.

Sometimes they play with the waves, and sometimes they "drag their family with their mouths" to swim with their cubs, and their round heads appearing on the surface of the water from time to time are really cute.

The Ganjiang River is the largest river in Jiangxi, a central province in China, and one of the main tributaries of the Yangtze River.

The Yangtze finless porpoise is an indicative flagship species of the Yangtze River ecosystem. It is also included in the "World Conservation Union" Red List as a critically endangered species. Due to its small population, it is called the "water giant panda".

Because of his big head, small eyes, and slightly upturned mouth, he is called the "smiling angel" of the Yangtze River.
