Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 4th that it was confirmed that 142 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
Nara City also announced that a man in his 70s, who had been confirmed to be infected, had died.
With this, a total of 13,877 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
140 people have died.
