The environment is on the menu for our RFI correspondents around the world.

Thailand, in Southeast Asia, is a region very affected by the challenges of climate change, just like in Switzerland.

In Canada, the outgoing Liberal government is committed to protecting 25% of its territory within four years, but the goal may not be very realistic.

In Côte d'Ivoire, one of the major environmental problems is deforestation.

The country has lost 90% of its forests since independence in 1960.
