(Abu Fahd) told «Emirates Today» that he has been working in the country since 2002 in the hotel sector and real estate companies. In 2018, he got a job opportunity in a contracting company with a salary of 10,000 dirhams, and his material, moral and living life was stable without obstacles and obstacles, and he was able to arrange The basic needs and priorities of his family members in terms of housing, education and food, and he did not complain of any financial problems during the past years.


He added: “In February of 2019, the company I work for sent us emails that it would restructure the company, reduce the salaries of some of its employees, and terminate the services of a number of other employees, and I was among those who were chosen to reduce their salaries from 10 thousand. dirhams to 4000 dirhams.


And he continued: “Because of the sudden decision that was not taken into account, I accumulated a lot of debts and responsibilities, and my financial life completely deteriorated, and my monthly salary hardly covered the needs of my small family of three people and my wife (who raised a house), as my children stopped working. Continuing their education because of my inability to pay the tuition arrears for my sons (Fahd - 12 years old), who studies in the sixth grade, and (Yasser - 10 years) studying in the fourth grade, where the value of the arrears amounted to 28,600 dirhams.


He added, "In February of this year, I lost my job completely, after losing the company I work for, and I became without a stable source of income for my family members, and I tried to search for a new job opportunity or any source of help, but to no avail." One of the problems we faced and endured, but our problem that we could not be patient with is the cost of the school arrears incurred by my sons Fahd and Yasser, so I hope that good hands will extend to help us pay the tuition fees, so that my sons can resume their studies.”
