China News Service, Chengdu, September 3 (Reporter Liu Zhongjun) At 21:30 on September 3, a magnitude 4.8 earthquake occurred in Gongxian County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, with a focal depth of 15 kilometers. The epicenter is located at 28.09 degrees north latitude and 104.92 degrees east longitude.
After the earthquake, the Sichuan Fire Rescue Corps immediately activated the earthquake rescue plan and dispatched 2 vehicles and 10 people from the front detachment of Gongxian Brigade, Yibin Fire Rescue Detachment, to the epicenter to check the disaster.
At the same time, the earthquake rescue teams of Yibin, Chengdu, Zigong and Luzhou fire rescue detachments assembled to prepare for dispatch.
After checking with the Yibin Fire Rescue Detachment and Gongxian Fire Rescue Brigade, Gongxian felt a significant tremor when the earthquake occurred.
At present, the Yibin Fire Rescue Detachment and Gongxian Fire Rescue Squadron have not received relevant disaster alarms.
After checking with the party committee and government personnel of Caoying Township, Gongxian County, we have not received reports on the collapse of houses and the pressure of people, and there are no abnormalities in road traffic, water, electricity, and gas.
