Regarding the occupational inoculation of the new coronavirus vaccine, it was found that the number of applications withdrawn has exceeded 1000 so far due to the problem that there were a series of venues withdrawing applications due to delays in supply.

The national government started inoculation of occupational areas in June for companies and universities that can inoculate about 1,000 people, and received applications for a total of about 18.2 million people from 5202 venues nationwide.

However, the number of venues withdrawing applications was one after another, and as of the 24th of last month, there were 1088 venues, which is about 20% of the total.

The number of people inoculated is estimated to be about 5.6 million.

It seems that the reason is that the delay in the supply of vaccines forced us to review the vaccination plan and it became impossible to secure doctors, etc., and the number of applicants decreased due to the progress of vaccination by local governments before starting occupational vaccination. I have.

The vaccines prepared for these venues will be delivered to venues set up by prefectures for those who have not received the second vaccination in the workplace.

The withdrawn venue has called for compensation for the doctors and cancellation fees at the venue, but the government says it cannot respond.
