The Nigerian government is under fire from critics.

Armed men kidnapped more than 70 high school students in northwest Nigeria on Wednesday (September 1).

This is the latest kidnapping in a long series of attacks on schools.

In Ivory Coast, a scandal shakes this week the Ivorian channel NCI.

Yves de M'Bella, one of its animators, had invited, Monday, August 30, a "repented" rapist who mimed his actions on a plastic mannequin.

Even if Yves de M'Bella was suspended and sentenced, Wednesday, September 1, to 12 months suspended prison sentence for "apologizing for rape" and "indecent exposure", the activists did not take offense.

They denounce the rape culture in the country and demand sanctions against those responsible for the channel.

The report in Abidjan by Hannane Ferdjani, Damien Koffi and Samuel Bernard.
