No need to go through an online platform to make an appointment for a vaccination against the Coronavirus.

From this weekend, the French who wish will be able to go directly to any vaccination center to receive a dose, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday.

"Ephemeral operations will be set up on the territory and it will always be possible to be vaccinated in a large number of shopping centers," the ministry said in a statement.

Called "At the start of the school year, all vaccinated", this operation aims to "allow as many people as possible to be vaccinated".

"In this period of re-entry and intensification of population mixing, the risks of contamination are increasing, while the virus is still circulating", continues the ministry, stressing that "less than 10 million French people eligible for vaccination have not yet received their first dose ”.

The information on the places of vaccination during this weekend appear on the sites of the regional health agencies (ARS), concluded the ministry.

France is on the verge of crossing the threshold of 50 million people who have received at least one dose of vaccine.

In addition, some 45 million people, or two-thirds of the total population, are fully immunized.
