The World Conservation Congress organized by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) opened this Friday, September 3, 2021 in Marseille, in the south of France.

Billed as the largest global biodiversity event ever, it should initially have been held last year, but the meeting had to be canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
