  Affected by the continuous rainfall in the upper and middle reaches of the Hanjiang River since late August, the current flood control situation in the Hanjiang River Basin is relatively severe.

It is expected that from September 4th to 6th, there will be more significant rainfall in the western part of Hubei Province. Among them, there will be moderate to heavy rains and partial heavy rains in Shiyan, Xiangyang, Shennongjia, Enshi and other places.

The water level of Danjiangkou Reservoir will rise further, and the middle and lower reaches of the Han River will continue to exceed the warning level or approach the guaranteed water level.

The Hubei Meteorological Bureau has responded to the order of the third-level emergency response for flood control in Hubei Province.

  The Hubei Meteorological Bureau weather forecast shows that during the day on the 3rd, the province is still mainly overcast to cloudy weather, with scattered showers or thunderstorms.

On the evening of the 3rd, the rains in northwestern Hubei began to strengthen, with short-term heavy rainfall in some parts.

On the 4th, there were light to moderate rains, heavy rains or heavy rains on a cloudy day in northern Hubei.

On the 5th, there were moderate to heavy rains on a cloudy day in the northwest of Hubei, local heavy rains, and scattered showers or thundershowers on cloudy days in other areas.

  In terms of temperature, the highest temperature in northwestern Hubei was 28~31℃ on the 3rd and 31~34℃ in other regions; the temperature continued to rise slightly on the 4th; however, affected by cold air and rainfall on the 5th, northwest Hubei would fall back to 24~27℃. 30~33℃.
