The European channel Arte presented its program for the 2021-2022 season on Thursday.

Arte presented its back-to-school novelties to the press for the 2021-2022 season on Thursday.

A comeback on a very good basis, since Arte multiplied the good audience results last season.

Arte is therefore launching after a record (and even historic) year with an audience share of 2.9%.

And Arte also performs on digital with 170 million views accumulated each month on the arte.tv platform.

Between 2017 and 2020, its digital progress increased by 400%.

Reinforce your difference

"We want to increase the links between Arte and those who either watch it already, or who can watch it", explains the president of the channel Bruno Patino.

“We really think Arte is for everyone. I hope viewers who are connected with Arte realize that this channel is very different from the others.

"We are a European channel, a narrative channel very based on documentaries, fiction and cinema. Arte offers a lot of different things, coming from different places. I hope that this richness and this difference can be seen", adds he does.

To increase these links, Arte is presenting a very rich back-to-school program.

The antenna is also progressing: + 23% of 15-34 years, compared to 2019. If Arte does not seek to rejuvenate its viewers, the channel is delighted to speak to all audiences.
