With the continuation of the activities of the "Arab Youth Podcast Training Program", launched by the Arab Youth Center for the rehabilitation of young men and women, with the latest professional skills they need to create digital audio and podcast content, program participants from 18 countries learned about the experience of the "Anghami" platform and the story of its rise in the Arab digital space.


In a virtual session, 100 young men and women learned about the factors that enabled the Anghami platform to grow and expand in the field of audio digital content, and how it can benefit from digital transformation and the rapid and wide spread of smart mobile devices to transform the idea of ​​the platform into reality.


Shamma Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Vice-President of the Arab Youth Center, met through video communication with 100 members of the Arab Youth Podcast’s training program, and said: “The young Arab talents emerging in various fields, especially the field of creative content, are able to meet an urgent need for content. A distinguished creative Arab, especially if they have specialized training programs designed in cooperation with experts.”


She added that «the Arab Youth Center works to empower young people, through communication and interaction with experts and specialists in leading regional and global institutions in the fields of interest to them and helping them to build their future. The center seeks to benefit in this context from its broad / global partnerships to develop and develop the skills of Arab youth.


Elie Habib, co-founder of the Anghami platform, and Eddie Maroun, co-founder and CEO of Anghami, explained the basic elements required for the success of audio and audio content products that are digitally published, and the models of entrepreneurship and content creativity that achieve the continuity of that success.


Habib said: “The most important thing in the success of creative content projects is always preparing an integrated content plan and strategy, and an action plan that includes the basic elements for launching an idea or project, such as a podcast platform. Planning, good preparation, research on topics of interest to the recipient, and the use of tools and techniques that attract them are the factors for the success of the creative project.”


For his part, Eddie Maroun said: “The (Anghami) platform created youthful energy and new ideas, and benefited from the support to launch, grow and succeed. Now, we are working in turn to support young people in the Arab world to help talented and creative people turn their innovative ideas into reality.”


After completing the first phase of the program, which included producing successful podcasts, establishing an in-house recording studio, voiceover arts, and preparing a podcast episode produced by each member of the program, those who qualify for the second phase will receive hours of individual consultation with experts on how to prepare a business plan. Develop technical production and develop a publishing and marketing plan.


The Arab Youth Podcast Training Program trains its members, through specialized courses, on podcasting and podcasting skills, and how to produce podcast content and build their own podcast platforms, in cooperation and coordination with 10 partners specialized in podcasting and podcasting.


The meeting with experts in the content industry and managing its platforms contributes to enhancing the experiences of the program members and helping them plan their future projects in the field of creative digital content production, especially podcasts, which are growing in popularity in the Arab region and the world.


Talents from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Yemen, Mauritania, Somalia, Comoros, Lebanon, Jordan, Sudan, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, and Tunisia are participating in the training program for the Arab Youth Podcast.



“The Program” cooperates with partners specialized in content, to train 100 young men and women from 18 Arab countries.
