On September 2nd, on the eve of the Victory Memorial Day of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, 69-year-old Zhang Jiancheng told the children the story of the War of Resistance Against Japan in the "Victory Memorial Building" in Fengrun District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province.

According to Zhang Jiancheng, this "Memorial Building for the Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan" was built in 1946 by his grandfather Zhang Zhiquan.

Grandpa was one of the earliest members of the Communist Party of China in East Hebei. He served successively as the Secretary of the CPC Zunhua County Committee and Director of the East Hebei Anti-Japanese War Federation.

When the War of Resistance Against Japan was defeated in 1945, Zhang Zhiquan used all his savings to build this "Memorial Building for the Victory of the War of Resistance" on his homestead.

After 75 spring and autumn and three generations of the whole family, the "War of Resistance Victory Memorial Building" has become a cultural relics protection unit in Hebei Province.
