On September 2, the National Development and Reform Commission held a press conference in Beijing on the promotion of the high-quality construction of the new western land-sea corridor.

Xiao Wenjun, deputy director of the Port Logistics Office of Chongqing City, introduced that Chongqing has now formed three main channel logistics organization methods: rail-sea combined transport trains, cross-border highway shuttles, and international railway combined transport trains.

As of the end of July, Chongqing has transported over 220,000 TEUs via the Western Land-Sea New Corridor, with a cargo value of 40 billion yuan, and both the volume and value of the cargo accounted for more than 30% of the entire corridor.

The logistics network covers 308 ports in 106 countries and regions.
