According to the preliminary figures of "Domestic outbreak trends of new coronavirus infections" released by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare on the 2nd, 137,207 people were confirmed to be infected during the week from August 25th to 31st.



Compared to the previous week, there are 15,645 fewer people.



Of these, 30,298 are under the age of 20.



The number has decreased by 129 compared to the previous week, but it has increased by about 2.6 times compared to 11,589 in the week up to August 3rd, a month ago.



In addition, 22.1% of those under the age of 20 were confirmed to be infected during the week leading up to August 31, which exceeded 20%.



In the week leading up to August 3, a month ago, the percentage of people under the age of 20 was 15.5%, and the trend is continuing to increase.
