Okinawa Prefecture announced on the 1st that it was confirmed that 535 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
It's been 274 fewer than last Wednesday, and it's been a week in a row that it's below the same day of the previous week.
This brings the total number of infected people confirmed in the prefecture to 43,210.
