[Concurrent] Wang Ran

I spend my whole life telling it to the second person, it's not as good as I make it out and let the second person touch it.

Hello everyone, my name is Wang Ran, and I am currently engaged in research and innovation related to the tenon and tenon culture.

Tenon and tenon are the main structural method of ancient architecture, furniture and other appliances. The protruding part is called tenon and the concave part is called mortise. No nails are used on the object. The tenon and tenon structure is used for reinforcement, which reflects the ancient Chinese culture and wisdom. .

There is a saying in the ancients that the best relationship in the world is the master-disciple relationship.

Master is a teacher of Guiyou, a national non-genetic inheritor, who has been in this industry for 52 years.

My master Liu Yansong is the founder of Jingzaku Tenon and Mortise Art Museum. He wants to pass the precious wealth left by the master to us in his way, and I will pass it on to everyone in the way young people (loved) now.

Inheritance may be the older generation, such as my masters and masters who worry about things, and I am more worried about what innovations can be made.

Many people have misunderstandings about mortise and tenon joints, thinking that it can only be a technique applied to wood, traditional furniture, and traditional architecture.

In fact, the master and master taught me more of a method of tenon and tenon thinking.

In fact, what we are developing now, such as this kind of teaching aid form, is to let more young people know firsthand that the tenon and tenon joint is not only a structure that is easy to use when used on wood, but also on plastic and metal. Used in a variety of modern technologies, such as 3D printing, it is still a very easy-to-use structure.

So it is not a technology that is out of the times, efficient, and practical.

(Ton-and-mortise structure) has served many industrial enterprises.

To give the simplest example, the most direct thing (enterprise) now is to reduce the use of screws.

For the (tenon and tenon structure), no screws are used, and the structure is reasonable. The assembly of workers feels like building blocks. In this way, the quality of the mass product is high, and the efficiency is high. When it is in the hands of the public, its price will naturally decrease. This is the biggest innovation direction of this technology.

Before you don't know much about technology or culture, you can go to the Forbidden City to see ancient buildings. It may be just like that.

With the understanding of technology and history, you can see the attitudes of craftsmen from different eras towards this cultural relic, and then you can also prove the rise and fall of this era from the side. If you look at other imitations, you will feel more and more. Not that smell.

Using history as a mirror to know the rise and fall, these cultural relics are more of a physical mirror. Without these objects that can be truly experienced, I guess it will be passed on to the second person, and the second person can’t understand it. I It's better to spend my whole life talking to the second person, it's not as good as me to make it out and let the second person touch it.

At that time, I went to give lectures to children who were six or seven years old (first and second grades) in the lower grades of Qianmen Primary School.

Then I thought that since it was me who taught, I must promote traditional Chinese culture. Traditional culture is inseparable from the "Tao De Jing", so I told them a section of "The Tao De Jing".

When those children looked at my confused eyes, I especially hope they can understand, and then I especially want to teach them the wisdom that may be summed up by the ancients in our traditional culture, but they don’t understand, which makes me panic again. Nervous again.

Then I thought, let’s forget it, and I said (to the children), "I have these toy teaching aids here, let’s start playing!" Then the children "Wow!" The whole class clapped and was happy again, as if before None of the things happened, that feeling is what impressed me the most.

Later, I also learned the second chapter of the Tao Te Ching, "Doing nothing to do, do what you say without words", it may be useless to say more, it is better for them to experience it, and they like it.

Every time I learn more about the mortise and tenon technique and the mortise and tenon culture, I can find that it was so interesting at the time. I think it was a very strong spiritual satisfaction to be able to get in touch with the ancients.

I find that young people are still very interested in traditional culture. I hope to pass on the techniques and culture of mortise and tenon joints that I have learned to more young people who are willing to join.
