For a long time, there has been a saying in the "rice circle" arena: "After a program, sister station likes to mention a house."

Although this sentence is a bit exaggerated, the fact that the "fantou" and "Sister Zhan" in the "fan circle" use the "star support" to raise funds for profit is a secret that the "fan circle" has long been open.

"Fentou" refers to the leader of the fan group. To organize a complete professional fan group, an experienced and capable "fantou" is the key; "Sister Zhan" is also known as the goddess of the cannon, which refers to the use of advanced cameras to shoot Fans of idols also refer to the organizers of the star idol support station.

"I was not deceived less in those days. Because I liked a certain team and participated in the support activities organized by Zhanjie, I paid 1,000 yuan for the birthday of the idol. Later, the fan club gave everyone a P (synthesis)."

Said Sister Xiaowang (pseudonym).

Some former "Sisters of the Station" recently accepted an interview with a reporter from the Beijing Youth Daily and told about the tricks of "pitting money" in this circle.

Self-report: Chasing idols and earning living expenses

With the increasing number of idol talent shows, "star support" has become increasingly popular in the fan circle: as small as idols attending events, as large as celebrities on their birthdays, they all pay attention to "face-to-face".

There are many ways to respond to the so-called support: some are to buy idol endorsement products at high prices through fan clubs; some are to buy albums and brush work views; even more crowdfunding is initiated on the fan platform, and the single fundraising of the fan group ranges from tens of thousands to Ranging from several million.

Fan Xiao Wang (pseudonym), a fan who was once obsessed with idol chasing stars, told the reporter of Beijing Youth Daily, "In the past two years, I have not spent less money to chase stars." Xiao Wang said that he first liked a certain idol group for a limited debut because of a show, so he kept going. Erdi buys promotional materials to help the idols to form a group.

Gradually, they started buying their albums and photos.

In order to make himself famous in the fan circle, Xiao Wang began to follow the celebrity's itinerary and purchase tickets for the events attended by the celebrities at high prices. "The past two years have been crazy."

On the way of chasing stars, Xiao Wang was not less deceived. “Back then, because he liked a certain team and participated in the support activities organized by Sister Zhan, he paid 1,000 yuan for the idol’s birthday. Later, the support pictures that fans would give everyone turned out to be P: on the one hand, money. It’s all overwhelmed. On the other hand, there is no support screen on the idol’s birthday, which lacks a lot of meaning. This makes us very angry." As for the "meaning" of these actions, Xiao Wang himself is not clear, "Maybe. It's love!"

Where does the money for star chasing come from?

Xiao Wang said: "Most of them were given by my parents. As I became an adult, I started to apply all kinds of credit cards to satisfy my wish of chasing stars." In fact, I must be unable to make ends meet on the way to chasing stars.

So later, Xiao Wang started to be a "Sister Station", earning a little living expenses.

Problem: Fans’ “blind casting” cannot monitor the flow of funds

Birthday party should aid fund-raising, meet-ups should aid fund-raising, list fund-raising, investment fund-raising, daily fund-raising, peripheral fund-raising...These are the words that often appear in celebrity support clubs.

Where do these fans "consume" every day, and can there be a certain amount of "after-sales" for "consumption"?

Where did the money go after crowdfunding?

Who is the biggest beneficiary here?

Is this kind of illegal fundraising in disguise?

A reporter from the Beijing Youth Daily noted that since August, a number of star-chasing apps have been removed from the app market, including apps with a large number of users such as "Superstar Rice Ball App", "Magic Rice Pro", and "Taoba".

Most of these applications contain functional modules such as fundraising and support, which can easily induce fans to produce unreasonable consumption and infringement of privacy.

Is there any after-sale for the fund-raising behavior of the back-up club?

Fan "Xiaoyao" told reporters: "Don't talk about after-sales, star-chaser is already a mature fan without being deceived!" A reporter from Beijing Youth Daily found that Zhan Sister’s fund-raising behavior on these star-chasing websites was "crazy". Fans raised funds to do things for idols. As a result, it is not uncommon for "fans" to collect money and run away, and each time the amount of funds raised is tens of thousands of yuan.

"Sometimes, in order to guard against fans from other countries, the fund-raising activities of many websites are'blind investment', and we don't know how much money we have raised," "Xiaoyao" told a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily.

According to the reporter’s investigation, taking a certain audition show this year as an example of voting for contestants, “Sister Zhan” promised that fans will get artist-related derivatives as long as the artist debuts. The derivatives include supportive posters, celebrity T-shirts, photos, etc. , But it has been a few months since the artist debuted, and fans have not yet received the derivative products promised by Zhanjie.

Complaining to the platform, the person in charge of the platform bluntly said: “Sister Zhan’s activities on our platform are crowdfunding activities. The platform will urge her to fulfill her promise, but she does not have much execution power. Whether it is completed or not is her personal behavior.”

Analysis: Watch out for being defrauded in fundraising for "Stars Support"

Is this "crowdfunding" behavior of the fan club considered illegal fundraising?

Xu Peng, CEO of Kunpeng Golden Wings, believes, “From the perspective of fund-raising itself, it cannot be equated with illegal fund-raising. Our country’s financial activities adopt a licensing system, which means that if the fund-raising of fans is not a financial activity, it is not “money”. The activity of'generating money' is not a direct way of preventing and dealing with illegal fund-raising."

But in the fan base, there is also a saying that "Sister Zhan would like to mention a house after a show."

The amount of support from fans is not small, and there are often problems such as unclear fund flow, fraudulent accounts, and even organizers running away with money from time to time.

Lawyer Zhang Tongli told the Beijing Youth Daily reporter: “If you fabricate facts or conceal the truth, you first violate the trust of the funder; if you accumulate funds in the name of doing activities for the stars, then abscond with the money or use it for other expenses, it constitutes a form of fraud. Sin." The fan "Xiaoyao" told reporters: "We only heard that this type of fraud has been reported to the public security organs, but how we people provide evidence and what to provide evidence has become a difficult problem."

In this regard, lawyer Zhang Tongli reminded: "The rice circle" is not an illegal place, and all infringements and violations of the law should bear corresponding legal responsibilities.

Every fan should establish a correct view of star chasing, return to personal rationality, and be vigilant against bottomless star-chasing behaviors such as list fundraising, excessive consumption, "pull and bidding" and even online violence. Don't touch the law due to temporary loss and irrationality. Red line.
