On August 29, many Hong Kong citizens were visiting the "Relics of the Holy Mountain-Song Huangtai Unearthed Song and Yuan Cultural Relics Exhibition" in MTR Songhuangtai Station.

The exhibition is Hong Kong's first cultural relics exhibition set up in the station. More than 400 exhibits were selected by the Hong Kong Antiquities and Monuments Office from more than 700,000 Song and Yuan ceramic fragments, Song Dynasty copper coins and other cultural relics unearthed.

From 2012 to 2015, in conjunction with the construction of Songhuangtai Station, the MTR Corporation commissioned archaeological experts to carry out archaeological work within the scope of the project. As a result, a large number of archaeological remains from the Song and Yuan dynasties were unearthed, including Song Dynasty stone wells and more than 700,000 pieces of Song and Yuan ceramic fragments.
