An elite group of the world's most prominent women leaders participated in the international conference "The Global Status of Emirati Women... About 50", organized by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, in cooperation with the General Women's Union, the day before yesterday, as part of the Emirati Women's Day celebrations. The sessions of the conference, which was organized under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (Mother of the Nation), shed light on the global status that Emirati women have now enjoyed, and the development of their roles over 50 years. It enabled it to achieve a prominent presence in all fields, and to directly contribute to the comprehensive development process.
The conference, which was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Minister of Community Development, Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, included a session "Transcendental Tolerance: A girl, a mother, and a grandmother", with the participation of a number of Emirati families through three generations: the daughter The mother and grandmother, to discuss the role of Emirati women in instilling and consolidating the values of tolerance across generations, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Family Development Foundation.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak said, in his opening speech to the international, Arab and Emirati women leaders participating in the conference: “I am pleased to welcome your participation in our celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, and I have the honor to convey to you the greetings and welcome of the sponsor of this conference (Mother of the Emirates) Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, whose efforts have contributed to the process of development and prosperity in our beloved country, our region, and indeed the whole world.
Her enthusiasm, vision and commitment to comprehensive and sustainable development inspired us to appreciate the role of women as leaders and pioneers in our society, and Her Highness has always emphasized women’s rights and the importance of developing their capabilities and capabilities in various fields.”
He praised the Emirati women for their efficiency and clear leadership in developing the country and serving it in various fields.
