The main health indicators of Covid-19 have remained stable over the last 24 hours, with 11,052 hospitalized patients, including 2,259 in critical care services, according to figures from Public Health France.

The number of hospitalizations has been on a plateau for several days, after crossing the threshold of 11,000 hospitalized patients last Monday.

Hospitals have received 465 patients over the past 24 hours.

The intensive care units, which welcome patients with the most serious forms of Covid-19, remain under contained tension.

These units have 2,259 patients, against 2,270 on Friday and 2,261 on Thursday.

They recorded 119 admissions over the last 24 hours, against 194 the day before.

The seven-day figures, which smooth the daily variations, confirm the stability of the main indicators.

A total of 5,521 patients have been hospitalized over the past seven days, up from 5,828 as of Friday and 5,805 as of Thursday.

Same scenario for critical care services which admitted 1,209 patients with severe forms over the last seven days, against 1,250 on Friday.

The positivity rate, which measures the proportion of positive cases in relation to the number of people tested has fallen below the threshold of 3% (2.9%) This indicator, calculated over the last seven days consolidated at D-3, had crossed the 3% mark on July 22.

Covid-19 has killed 114,157 people since the start of the pandemic.

It has taken 75 patients in the last 24 hours.

The vaccination campaign is continuing at a steady pace.

In total, 48,356,975 people have received at least one injection (i.e. 71.7% of the total population) and 43,490,579 people benefit from a complete vaccination schedule (i.e. 64.5% of the total population).
