50 new mangrove trees by Emirati girls

The Ajman Tourism Development Department, in cooperation with Aqdar Adventures and Quest Adventures, organized an initiative to plant 50 mangrove trees in Al-Zawra Nature Reserve, on the occasion of Emirati Women's Day.
The initiative aims to highlight the importance of the role that Emirati women play in society, and also raise awareness about sustainable environmental development, as the total area of mangrove forests in the reserve increased from 1.2 km in 2018 to 1.5 km in 2021.
On August 28, the UAE celebrates Emirati Women's Day, which comes this year under the slogan "Women are ambitious and bright for fifty."
