On August 27, the right hole of the east Tianshan extra-long tunnel exit of the Xinjiang G575 highway control project was successfully opened to the No. 1 inclined shaft, connecting the north and south of Tianshan in the way of tunnels, which provided a guarantee for subsequent construction. The main tunnel is expected to be fully connected next month.
The East Tianshan extra-long tunnel is located in Yizhou District, Hami City, Xinjiang. The left hole is 11.767 kilometers and the right hole is 11.775 kilometers. The tunnel is located in the cold area of the Eastern Tianshan Mountains, with a maximum buried depth of 1223 meters.
