The whole case handling process, including court formation, trial, etc., will become clearer in my career plan in the future.” During this summer vacation, Li Lu, a Hong Kong student from Southwest University of Political Science and Law, had an internship at the Nansha International Arbitration Center of the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission.

  On the 27th, Nansha District, Guangzhou City held the 2021 Hong Kong and Macao young students Nansha "Hundred Enterprises and Thousand Talents" internship ceremony.

This activity was organized by the Guangzhou Nansha District Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Guangzhou Nansha District Youth Federation. In 6 weeks, a total of more than 110 young students from Hong Kong and Macau participated in the internship.

  Hong Kong student Li Lujun told China News Agency that through her internship at the Nansha International Arbitration Center of the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, she thought about the fit of professionalism and employment, and gained valuable experience from this internship.

The reporter learned that since the launch of the "Hundred Enterprises, Thousand Talents" internship program in 2015, more than 2,000 young people from Hong Kong and Macao have participated in internships in Nansha.

  According to data provided by the Nansha District Government, in 2021, nearly 100 internship units including government departments, statutory institutions, financial institutions, large central enterprises, Hong Kong-funded enterprises, and IAB enterprises in Nansha District will vigorously support the "Hundred Enterprises and Thousand Talents" internship program. Young people from Hong Kong and Macau have provided more than 300 internship positions.

  According to the person in charge of the Nansha District Youth Federation in Guangzhou, this year is the 6th year of the implementation of the "Hundred Enterprises and Thousand Talents" internship program. Over the years, it has been welcomed and sought after by young people from Hong Kong and Macao. They are no longer content to take a look, but want to try. Give it a try, try to stay in Nansha for employment.

Following for the first time in 2020, nine Hong Kong and Macao youths have signed employment intention agreements with enterprises and institutions in the region. This year’s "Hundred Enterprises and Thousand Talents" internship program has facilitated eight Hong Kong and Macao youths with central enterprises, smart technology companies, Hong Kong-funded enterprises, social organizations, etc. Five units signed labor contracts.

Zhou Gangheng, a Hong Kong young man who is about to join China Railway Tunnel Bureau Group Co., Ltd., expressed his expectation and confidence in working in Nansha.

  The person in charge of the China Railway Tunnel Bureau Group Co., Ltd. said that the admission of young students from Hong Kong and Macau every year has injected fresh blood into the tunnel bureau. The two Hong Kong youths who signed the employment letter of intent last year will formally start their jobs. An important platform channel for young talents in Hong Kong and Macau.

  It is worth noting that the young people from Hong Kong and Macao who participated in the "Hundred Enterprises and Thousand Talents" internship program this year have another identity-youth volunteers.

Among them, a group of young people from Hong Kong and Macao have become "super contacts" between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries, serving as Portuguese teachers in the Portuguese experience camp opened in Nansha, and sharing the charm of Portuguese with Nansha primary and middle school students.

  There are also a group of young people from Hong Kong and Macao participating in voluntary activities for water control and river protection.

Huang Jianfeng, a Macau student from Wuhan University, said: “Guangdong and Hong Kong drink the water of the Pearl River, and the blood is in harmony. As the saying goes, drinking water thinks about its source, and every young person in Hong Kong and Macau should be a disseminator, practitioner, and promoter of green environmental protection.”

  Next, Nansha will further deepen the employment-oriented "Workplace Elite" employment internship program for Hong Kong and Macao fresh graduates, and gradually expand the scale of employment of Hong Kong and Macao youths in Nansha, helping Hong Kong and Macao youth to integrate into the overall development of the country.
