From September 8th to 12th, the National Centre for the Performing Arts will stage the play again after a lapse of 12 years, and will rename the new version after careful polishing to "Summer Rainbow".
The original opera "Summer Rainbow" of the National Centre for the Performing Arts was composed by Hao Weiya, who had written for the National Centre for the Performing Arts version of "Turandot" for 18 minutes, and composed "Yunshui Ballad", "Assembly Number" and "Thirteen Hairpins in Jinling". Liu Heng, the famous screenwriter of waiting for the film, wrote.

In the early days of creation, he had twice experienced life in mountainous areas, incorporating the real work and living conditions of female teachers in the mountainous areas into his works, and writing and crying in retreat writing several times. The female teacher Yang Caihong on the stage was born out of many real character prototypes.
Liu Heng said: "There are many such people in life. They are unknown, tenacious, persistent, and have clear judgments about things and values. Yang Caihong is by no means a character who created a'speaking' style to set a model. She is pure. The elves have powerful inner strength."
The newly produced version emphasizes the addition of scenes where Yang Caihong interacts with students and multiple Yang Caihong arias. The music structure is more compact and the melody is more distinct. It further portrays the characters in the play, strengthens the tension of the drama, highlights the theme of the teacher, and sings praises. The original opera "Summer Rainbow" will be presented to the audience on a new stage while retaining the essence of the original version.
From the original realism full of pastoral atmosphere to a simple and atmospheric modern freehand style, with a jade-like texture and a stage background full of symbolic significance, it will be equipped with high-tech multimedia images to fully show the psychological space of the characters following the ups and downs of the plot. In this new version production, the famous director Chen Xinyi will direct the play again, and will be composed of stage design Li Bin, costume design Wu Junxi, lighting design Tang Ming, multimedia design Hu Tianji, modeling design Lin Ying, prop design Wang Weijun, sound design Wang Hao, etc. The creative team worked together.
