Due to the influence of the new coronavirus, the number of places for interaction has decreased, and a consultation desk has been set up at exchange facilities in Tokyo to support sexual minorities who have worries and anxieties.

The window was set up at "Pride House Tokyo Legacy," an exchange facility established by LGBTQ and other sexual minority parties.

Each consultation lasts 60 minutes and is conducted face-to-face by a professional counselor.

In a questionnaire conducted by the facility on sexual minority people about the impact of the new corona, 73% of the respondents answered that they were having difficulty living with their family members and other cohabitants. 36% of the respondents answered, "The number of people has decreased."

Since suicides tend to increase at this time of the summer vacation every year, we have set up a window to receive consultations from the parties concerned and their families in order to strengthen the call to the younger generation.

Mr. Kunihiro Maeda of "Pride House Tokyo Legacy" said, "I think there are appearances and feelings that can not be seen by family members and people at work. I definitely want you to use it because I made a place to accept it aloud." I did.

Prior application is required from the facility's homepage for consultation, and weekends are also accepted except Wednesday and Thursday.
