The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will set up a new "oxygen station" on the site of the Tsukiji market from September to temporarily accept people who are undergoing medical treatment at home and administer oxygen.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will establish a new oxygen station at the site of the Tsukiji Market in Chuo Ward, which is currently the base for transportation vehicles at the Tokyo Paralympics.

It is scheduled to open by the end of September after the Paralympic Games, and is expected to have 150 to 200 beds.

Among those who requested emergency transportation during home medical treatment, we will temporarily accept those who are judged to be mildly ill, and in addition to oxygen administration, we will provide antibody cocktail therapy.

This is the second oxygen station for people with mild illness, following the "City of the People's Castle" in Shibuya Ward, and the city will develop another one.

In addition, the operation of oxygen stations has started in metropolitan and public corporation hospitals, and there are 36 beds that always accept patients whose transportation destination cannot be found, and 100 beds that administer oxygen to moderately ill patients who are adjusting hospitalization. Each is available.
