At about 4 pm on August 25, 2021, a tornado broke out in Longgang District, which affected Lijing and Dongshan communities in Huludao Street.
According to preliminary statistics, the tornado caused more than 50 residential houses to be damaged, more than 50 trees were destroyed, more than 30 street lights were damaged, and one person was injured. The tornado has been sent to the hospital for treatment immediately.
After the tornado occurred, the relevant leaders of the local government rushed to the scene as soon as possible to command, and immediately organized relevant departments to put into work. Now the street, emergency, housing, sanitation, power, gas and other departments have conducted door-to-door inspections of potential safety hazards. The environmental sanitation garden cleaned up the destroyed trees in time, the roads have been unblocked, the electricity is under emergency repairs, and the disaster-stricken people have been properly resettled.
