a very familiar nursery rhyme that I sang with my friends when I was young.

Composer Lee Su-in, who left a big mark with this song and numerous nursery rhymes and songs, passed away three days ago and was buried in his hometown today (25th).

Composer Lee Su-in who left about 500 nursery rhymes and 150 songs.



His funeral was held while his family and colleagues saw him off, leaving the mortuary where one of his representative songs, 'The River of My Heart' resounded.




This nursery rhyme was made to commemorate the Apollo moon landing in 1970.



Round and round, cotton candy, and even the bellflowers I wrote for my son.



Most of his nursery rhymes consist of four easy-to-song beats, easy rhythms, and harmonious progressions because of the philosophy that 'children should be able to sing easily'.



I felt sorry for the recent nursery rhymes, which emphasized complex melodies and rhythms.
