Based on this, the BPO Youth Committee decided on the 24th to discuss the production of such programs, considering the seriousness of the impact on youth.
It does not cover individual programs, but discusses them as one theme by exchanging opinions with the person in charge of the TV station.
At BPO, the Broadcast Ethics Verification Committee compiled opinions on variety programs in 2009, citing cases where programs are disliked, such as bullying and production that is perceived as discrimination.
