A whopping 98mm of rain fell on Geoje Island in an hour.



Although the wind was not strong as the structure of the typhoon had collapsed, it rained heavily because the rainy season front and low pressure overlapped.



In Gyeongnam, where the typhoon passed, the atmosphere became unstable and lightning struck 5,500 times.



Typhoon 'Ohmais' passed inland from Goseong, Gyeongnam to Pohang in 3 hours and then disappeared in the East Sea this morning.



Still, the rain doesn't stop.



This is a satellite image this afternoon, and the central region is covered with red, low clouds, and the southern region is covered with white, tall rain clouds.




This is because the typhoon has passed, but the rainy season front and low pressure remain.



More than 100 mm of rain was forecast for the mountainous areas of Jeju Island tomorrow, and 30 to 80 mm in Chungnam and Honam and Gyeongnam, and 20 to 60 mm in North Chungcheong and Jeju Island.



As the North Pacific high pressure expands in the place where the typhoon passed, the monsoon front continues to fight with the cold from the north.



The rainy season front will stay in Korea until the beginning of next month, which is the beginning of autumn.



Next week, it will rain mainly in Chungcheong and Honam, but there is a possibility that it will come to low pressure near the rainy season front and there is a possibility of heavy rain.
