From August 21 to August 22, there was a sudden heavy rain in Hanyin County, Shaanxi. The rainfall in 3 towns exceeded 100mm, which caused power outages in 6 towns and 35 villages, and communication in 7 towns was affected. The northern mountainous towns were seriously affected and landslides occurred. Geological disasters such as landslides and landslides, traffic interruptions on many roads, and waterlogging occurred in parts of the county and urban areas.

  After the disaster occurred, Hanyin County initiated Level IV flood control emergency response and launched rescue and disaster relief work.

Various departments and cadres of towns and villages have organized the evacuation of more than 1,300 people from more than 400 households in dangerous areas.

At present, the county is still organizing disaster statistics and carrying out self-rescue, and other rescue and disaster relief work is in progress.
