Typhoon Ohmais made landfall in Goseong, Gyeongsangnam-do, and passed Pohang around 3 am this morning and escaped to the East Sea.
Currently, it is located in the sea near Ulleungdo.
At 9 a.m., it will weaken to a temperate cyclone.
A lot of rain fell in the Gyeongnam area, where the typhoon passed through.
From yesterday to today, it has rained more than 200mm in Sacheon, Gyeongnam. In Ulsan and Busan, heavy rain of more than 150 mm fell.
Even if we get out of the sphere of influence of the typhoon, it will rain heavily throughout the country today due to the influence of low pressure coming from the west.
If you look at the radar image, rain clouds approaching from the west are gradually covering the whole country.
A strong wind warning has been issued for the west coast and Jeju area, and a heavy rain warning is in effect for some areas of Chungnam and Honam and Ulleungdo, which are still affected by typhoons.
In the future, it is expected that it will rain at most 200mm or more in Jeonnam and Gyeongnam, 50~150mm in the south Chungcheong area, and 30~80mm in the metropolitan area and Gangwon area.
From morning to daytime, heavy rain of 50 to 70 mm per hour is expected to fall with gusts of wind, thunder and lightning in Chungcheong, southern and Jeju areas.
