Her favorite quote:

“Writing is also a kind of war.

History is what you wear and every time you add something it gets heavier.

All over the world there are books half written because the work has become too heavy.

Why this book?

  • Because this is Stephen King's brand new novel,

in its original version and it will undoubtedly take a while for fans to be able to discover the French version.

  • Because it's a thriller, without fantastic elements.

A thriller in which the reader becomes attached to the protagonist, a hired killer but who is not inherently bad, since he only accepts missions for bad guys, bad guys who really deserve to die .

  • Because this Stephen King novel explores, under the guise of his fiction,

    the shortcomings of society.

  • Because the theme of writing,

via its main character, is also addressed.

  • Because the reader travels a lot through this novel,

going from a private building in a big city to a cabin in the Rocky Mountains of the United States, and several other places more than 3,000 km from these mountains.

  • Because we find an important element

of the work of Stephen King (and we will not tell you more to leave the surprise).
