Three trips.

In Dijon, in a former market gardening area of the Burgundy capital, the Lentillères free quarter has grown, with spades and slogans, like a laboratory for the commons.
Here, market gardeners, inhabitants of here and elsewhere or neighbors come together to lend a hand.
From collective vegetable gardens to self-built huts, from small gardens to neighborhood festivals, we are inventing new ways of inhabiting the world, more autonomous and united.
But above all, we struggle.
We have been fighting for 10 years against a vast real estate project, occupying this 9 hectare land without rights or title.
In this small ZAD or Zone to defend, a radical and protesting vision of ecology is embodied on a daily basis, far from any commercial influence.
To this day, the Lentillères free quarter and its hundred inhabitants remain threatened with eviction, despite the abandonment of the project against which they fought.
This report is part of the series in 3 episodes “Communs, communes” imagined by Sarah Lefèvre and So far so close.
A trip to France and Belgium, to meet those who seek to make "common", embody and combine in the present the famous "world after".
A report by Sarah Lefèvre initially broadcast on 12/13/2020.
