Continuous heavy rains caused water to accumulate in many streets in Langzhong city and townships, shops in some streets were flooded, some power lines in urban and rural areas tripped, landslides, rockfalls, and mudslides appeared on national and provincial roads. Langzhong entrance of Guangnan Expressway is currently temporarily closed.
At present, Langzhong has launched an emergency plan for severe weather. Public security traffic police are on duty on the road to guide vehicles through. The transportation department organizes personnel to investigate and eliminate dangers on the national and provincial roads. The power department organizes rescue personnel to rescue the tripped line.
The continuous heavy rain caused the water of Gouxi River to soar. The Shitan Town Bridge on the bank of Gouxi River was flooded. The water of the river continued to rise. The local party committee and government have organized the transfer of residents.
Up to now, 32 hidden dangers have been investigated, 58 warning signs have been set up, and traffic control has been implemented on National Highway 212 (Shaxi Section, Pengcheng Section), National Highway 347 Wencheng Section and other road sections.
