An event was held in Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture, where hydrogen energy is being used for recovery from the earthquake and the nuclear accident.

Last year, the world's largest hydrogen production facility "Fukushima Hydrogen Energy Research Field" started operation in Namie Town, and we are proceeding with a demonstration project for the spread of hydrogen energy in collaboration with Fukushima Prefecture, major trading companies, automobile manufacturers, etc. increase.

On the 22nd, an event was held at the roadside station in the town to help spread this hydrogen energy, and parents and children participated.

At the venue, carts, buses, kitchen cars, etc. for children who run using hydrogen were exhibited, and children actually got on the cart and enjoyed the ride.

In addition, a classroom was held to learn about clean energy such as hydrogen, and children were learning the mechanism of fuel cells to store energy using a simple experimental kit.

A 6th grade boy who participated said, "Unlike gasoline cars, I heard a vacuum cleaner squeaking. I hope that hydrogen-powered cars will spread around the world to reduce carbon dioxide." Was there.
