On August 21, according to the Tibet Autonomous Region Transportation Department, the G6 Beijing-Tibet Expressway from Nagqu to Yangbajing section opened for trial operation on that day.
So far, the 295-kilometer-long G6 Beijing-Tibet Expressway from Nagqu to Lhasa (Nala Expressway for short) has been opened to traffic. This is currently the highest expressway in the world.
