The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) revealed the activities of its music program, which it is organizing this year under the slogan "The Year of the Fifty", in preparation for the UAE's celebrations of its fiftieth year, in which the country celebrates its achievements that reached space.

Dubai Culture invited Emiratis and residents who wish to develop their musical passion to join the program, which starts today and will continue until November 29, as part of the Dubai Performing Arts Program, and the music program will be virtual.

Fatima Al Jallaf, Acting Director of the Performing Arts Department at Dubai Culture, said: "This year, we present, within our music program, an intensive set of workshops that deal with the musical instruments included in the orchestra, and how to harmonize and harmonize these instruments to present pieces that express the spirit and culture of the UAE."

She added, "The program will conclude with a concert by 50 international musicians, within the Orchestra of the East, led by Maestro Mohamed Hamami, embodying the harmony and sophistication that the UAE reflects in its fiftieth year."

Fatima Al Jallaf continued: “We aim from the program to provide a rich platform to support promising local talents in music, develop their skills, activate the cultural movement in Dubai, and establish a strong base for music that works to discover talents from new generations and enable them to professionalize, which contributes to enriching the sector. young talents in the fields of arts,” noting that the program also seeks to “establish a real artistic product that reflects the identity and culture of the UAE, as well as strengthening Dubai’s position as a global center for culture, an incubator for creators and a forum for talent, and to contribute to achieving Dubai’s strategy for the creative economy.”

The music program provides a range of interactive specialized training workshops, under the supervision of a group of musicians from the UAE and the Arab world. Among the most prominent workshops are the basics of playing a range of stringed instruments, such as the oud, violin, viola and cello, in addition to an explanation of oriental rhythms.
