The roof fall accident of Qingshuiying Coal Mine in Ningxia has contacted the trapped people and is stepping up to clear the rescue channel
At about 23:50 on August 19, a roof fall accident occurred at a working face of Qingshuiying Coal Mine of Ningxia Coal Company, National Energy Group, and 4 people were trapped in the accident.
At around 7 o'clock on the 20th, rescuers heard the percussion and got in touch with the trapped people through the drill pipe.
At 20:13 on the 20th, rescuers opened the life-saving hole for transporting food and delivered food to the trapped people as soon as possible.
Although the holes for conveying food have been opened, the passage for personnel to raise the well is still being rushed through.
After the accident, the local authorities quickly organized rescue operations.
After the life-saving hole for transporting food was opened, at about 7 o'clock on August 21st, a note was sent out from the trapped persons. The note stated that the four trapped persons were in good physical condition. Since then, rescuers have repeatedly transported food to the underground through the hole. At present, the area where the trapped persons are located is well ventilated, and rescuers are digging by bypassing the roof fall area and digging rescue channels.
As of 17:00 on August 21, the rescue channel has been excavated 16.4 meters and is still in the process of stepping up the rescue.
