Next month, a television series will be shown that deals in depth with the impeachment of former US President Bill Clinton, and the star of the series, Benny Feldstein, said that she hopes to "acquit" Monica Lewinsky in the eyes of some viewers.

And the series' producers said, the day before yesterday, before its September premiere on Walt Disney's "FX" network, that Lewinsky was an unusual participant in (Impeachment: American Crime Story) "Impeachment: American Crime Story."

Lewinsky gave her reaction to the scripts, agreeing with the dialogue of star Feldstein, who plays the former trainee.

Feldstein said, "She made her a friendship with Lewinsky, with whom she met once in person before the (Covid-19) pandemic, and exchanged texts and videos with her."

"She is incredibly affectionate, and I made it very clear to her when we started shooting that I consider myself her bodyguard," Feldstein said during a ceremony at the Television Critics Association.

She added that she told Winsky, "I will be your support. I know how you feel."

Lewinsky began a relationship with Clinton when she was 22 years old.

Clinton initially denied the existence of such a relationship before apologizing for it.

The House of Representatives accused him of perjury and withdrew confidence from him, but the Senate acquitted him.

"She was at that time too young to have any impressions of what had happened, but she had heard negative memories, and it was very important for her to come out and be cleared," Feldstein said.

The producers said, "Lewinsky was the subject of ridicule, her appearance and her actions were criticized, but she was unable to speak freely, due to an agreement that provided for her immunity from prosecution."

"Our story is somewhat recreated by a Monica Lewinsky, which has no connection with the real person," said writer Sarah Burgess.
