From the evening of August 19th to the early morning of August 20th, the Henan Province and Zhengzhou Municipal Meteorological Observatories issued heavy rain blue and thunderstorm yellow warning signals respectively. Some areas of the region will experience strong convective weather such as short-term heavy rainfall and short-term strong winds.

The Zhengzhou Red Cross Water Voluntary Rescue Team, which is engaged in public welfare rescue, assembled more than ten members and several vehicles carrying rescue boats and other equipment on the road to prepare for duty overnight.

The leader of the rescue team Niu Zhenxi told reporters that after Zhengzhou experienced the "7.20" heavy rain, the weather station issued rain news on the evening of the 19th, and they gathered here to prepare for rescue and take precautions.

In addition, in some sections of the Beijing-Guangzhou Expressway, many residents parked their private cars on both sides of the viaduct to avoid danger overnight.

As of the morning of the 20th, there has been no significant heavy rainfall in Zhengzhou City.
