Mayotte, a small island in the Indian Ocean located between Mozambique and Madagascar.

Mayotte is part of the Comoros and has been an “outermost region” of the European Union since 2014.

It therefore benefits from the Common Agricultural Policy.

An important financial windfall for an island, whose population has multiplied by 10 in 50 years.

270,000 inhabitants, more than half of whom are under 18 years old.

Mayotte must therefore take up a challenge that interests everyone: how to produce more and better on a limited agricultural area?
