The 10 30-minute episodes of the

reboot

 had been broadcast from February 25 on Peacock and the critics had not been particularly enthusiastic.

In the original series, Soleil Moon Frye played the role of an orphan abandoned by her mother in a supermarket at the age of 7.

Having only her dog Bandit as a companion, she ended up finding refuge in a building before being taken in and then adopted by a photographer named Henry Warnimont who was played by George Gaynes.
