  According to Hong Kong police on August 19, Li Yuxuan and Chen Zihua were charged with conspiracy to collude with foreign countries or foreign forces to endanger national security, and the two pleaded guilty in the Hong Kong High Court.

  The charge of violating the Hong Kong National Security Law pointed out that the two conspired with Next Media’s founder Li Zhiying, his assistant Mark Simon, Liu Zudi and others from July last year to February this year to request foreign or overseas institutions, organizations, and personnel to, Implement sanctions, blockades, or other hostile actions against the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Chinese government.
