Hokkaido and other countries have announced that it has been confirmed that 575 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in Hokkaido.
Of these, 318 people, including one who was re-positive in Sapporo City, 172 people in Michi, 60 people in Asahikawa City, 17 people in Hakodate City, and 8 people in Otaru City announced infection confirmation.
In addition, the city of Sapporo announced that a woman in her 80s, who had been confirmed to be infected, had died.
As a result, the total number of infected people in Hokkaido is 51,489, including 32,243 in Sapporo, and 1,434 have died.
